Our coated pieces are complete using a process called PVD, which is very durable & fairly scratch resistant, making them good for everyday use. Pieces are dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing to maintain an impeccable finish and extend the life of the pieces. You should use a mild, non-abrasive non-citrus detergent or soap, and avoid scrubbing pieces with any abrasive sponges or pads. We recommend using a gel pac or gel, and to avoid using compacted tablets made of granular soap, which can be hard to dissolve and can erode the finish.
